If you have chosen to deliver your hot tub with external transport, you connect the filtration system yourself. You do this easily by following a few steps.

Connecting the glass filter system
Step 1: Preparing the UV filter
- Unpacking UV filter: Remove the UV filter from the box.
- UV lamp preparation: Loosen the swivel and carefully remove the UV lamp. Remove the carton from the UV lamp.
- Insert UV lamp: Insert the UV lamp back into the UV filter and tighten the swivel securely.
Make sure the rubbers on both sides of the UV filter are properly seated. These rubbers will keep the filter watertight.
Step 2: Installing the filter system
- Installation without a box: For this explanation, you will see the filter system without a box. Normally it is delivered in a box.
- Positioning the filter system: Place the filter system where the two hoses protrude from the hot tub.
- UV filter positioning: Make sure the rubbers are still in place and make sure the plug is on the bottom of the UV filter.
Step 3: Make connections
- Tighten top gland: Tighten the top gland of the glass filter pump to the UV filter.
- Attach hoses:
- Tighten the upper hose of the hot tub to the lower tulle of the UV filter.
- Attach the lower hose of the hot tub to the circulation pump.
Make sure all glands are tightened hand-tight.
Step 4: Electrical connections.
- Connecting Plugs: Insert the two plugs into the power strip.
- Turning on the power: Turn on the power strip.
Now the UV filter system is ready to use. You can now enjoy clean and clear water in your hot tub!

Connecting the cartridge filter system
Step 1: Connecting the hoses
- Insert the ends of the filter into the hoses coming out of the hot tub.
- Tighten the hose clamps securely with a size 10 or 13 socket wrench.
- Check that all glands are tight to prevent leakage.
Step 2: Electrical connection
- Plug all connectors into the power strip except for the UV lamp.
- Plug the UV lamp separately on the left side into the single outlet marked “Blue Lagoon”.
- Press the on/off button on the circulation pump to start the filter.
- Check that the time is set to 24 hours. Is it not? Adjust it by pressing the timer button.
