How to Assemble the Underside and Front of the Self-Assembly Sauna

These steps describe the assembly of the bottom and front of the sauna, focusing on precision and correct connection of the profiles and panels.

Preparation:

  1. Ensure the surface of the sauna is level and hardened.
  2. Place the slippers on the surface.

Mounting Slippers and Profiles:

  1. Using four 5.5x100 screws, screw the two half-moon mounting beams onto the end of the slats.
  2. Place the center full moon profile in the center of the slats, making sure the frame is square. Screw the profile in place with two 4.5x60 screws at a 45-degree angle.

Placement of Crescent Profiles:

  1. Place four left half-moon profiles on the left side and screw them down at a 45-degree angle.
  2. Repeat for four right half-moon profiles on the right side.

Drill Holes and Add Draft Strip:

  1. In the slots of each profile, drill a 10mm diameter hole centered against the outer wall.
  2. Stick a rubber draft strip in both grooves on the inside, over the screw heads.

Front Wall Installation:

  1. Insert the center portion of the front wall into the groove, making sure it connects at the bottom of the groove and is centered. Screw this in place with a 4.5x60 screw.
  2. Place the two side panels of the front wall, ensuring they fit snugly into the groove and the numbers match. Screw the side panels to the center panel using 4.5x60 screws for the bottom and 5x100 screws for the top.
