How to Install the Comfort Equipment in a DIY Sauna with a Solid Back Wall or Half Panorama?

These steps describe the installation of the interior with the comfort equipment for a sauna with a solid back wall or half panorama wall.

Installation of the Outdoor Bench:

  1. Position the Bench:
    • Place the outdoor bench against the wall.
  2. Secure the Bench:
    • Screw it in place with six 4x50 screws.
    • Screw each leg to the formwork with two 4x50 screws at an angle into the leg.

Attaching the Planks to the Outdoor Bench:

  1. Secure the Planks:
    • Screw the planks to the legs with two 4x50 screws per plank.
  2. Maintain Even Spacing:
    • Use a 7 mm filler plate to keep the distance between each plank the same.
    • Ensure the distance between the bottom plank and the formwork is approximately 5 mm.

Installation of the Indoor Bench (Solid Back Wall or Half Panorama Wall):

  1. Position the Bench:
    • Place the indoor bench against the wall.
  2. Secure the Bench:
    • Screw it in place with six 4x50 screws, both left and right.
    • Screw each leg to the formwork with two 4x50 screws at an angle into the leg.

Attaching the Planks to the Inside Bench:

  1. Secure the Planks:
    • Screw the planks to the bench with five 4x50 screws per plank.
  2. Maintain Even Spacing:
    • Use a 7 mm filler plate to keep the distance between each plank the same.
    • Ensure the distance between the bottom plank and the formwork is approximately 5 mm.

Attaching the Backrest:

  1. Position the Backrest:
    • The distance between the bottom of the backrest and the top of the bench should be 20 cm.
  2. Secure the Backrest:
    • Use four 4x60 screws to attach the backrest.

Repeat Steps 1 to 5 for the Other Side of the Sauna:

  • Follow the same steps to install the outside bench, inside bench, and backrest on the other side of the sauna.

Installing the Floors:

  1. Insert the Floors:
    • Place the 90 cm long floor against the back wall.
  2. No Screws Needed:
    • It is not necessary to screw the floors.
