How to Install the Welstove Large

Have you just become the proud owner of a Welvaere hot tub? Congratulations! Now, of course, you want to enjoy your new acquisition as soon as possible. But before you do, it is essential to install the heater properly.

1. Hose Clamps in Place:

If all goes well, the hose clamps are already attached to the two heater hoses coming out of the hot tub. We've already done that for you. Now we can move on to step 2.

2. Connecting the Stove:

Now it's time to connect the heater to the heater hoses. This is an essential step because these hoses will carry the water you will heat with the stove. Place the tub stove against the hoses and slide the hoses over the grommets on the back of the stove. Make sure the rubber of the hose properly surrounds the protruding part of the grommet and slide the hose clamp almost all the way to the end of the hose.

3. Tighten Hose Clamps:

Tighten the hose clamps firmly with a socket wrench or a screwdriver, size 10 or 13 mm. Make sure they are tight. This is a crucial step because it is through these rubber hoses that water flows from the hot tub to the heater. We don't want water to escape when you fill the hot tub.

4. Check the Drain Cap:

There is another drain cap on the back of the stove. Make sure it is tightened properly. This prevents water from spilling out of the stove during heating.

5. Place the Stove Tubes:

The last step is to place the stove tubes. These fit easily into the designated opening at the top of the stove. Remove the foil from stove tube number 1 and place it in the stove first. Then add the heat shield (if any) and on top of stove tube number 2 with the rain cap or spark arrestor if necessary. It's a simple but important step to properly evacuate the smoke from the fire.

And voila!

We hope you found these instructions helpful and wish you much enjoyment with your Welvaere hot tub. Do you still have questions or run into problems? Consult our helpdesk for more information and tips. At Welvaere, we are always here for you.
