Installing Natural Stone Under the Stove in the DIY Sauna

These steps describe the installation of natural stone in the sauna, with a distinction being made between a wood stove and an electric stove.

Installing Natural Stone with a Wood Stove

Attaching Natural Stone to the Back Wall:

  1. Apply Adhesive:
    • Apply four lines of adhesive to the back wall, directly above the floor, approximately 50 cm high and a maximum of 50 cm wide.
  2. Place the First Stone:
    • Place the first 60 x 60 cm stone against the adhesive.

Attaching the Second Layer of Natural Stone:

  1. Apply Adhesive:
    • Apply four lines of adhesive to the back wall directly above the first stone, approximately 50 cm high and a maximum of 50 cm wide.
  2. Place the Second Stone:
    • Place the second 60 x 60 cm stone against the adhesive.

Attaching the Third Layer of Natural Stone:

  1. Apply Adhesive:
    • Apply four lines of adhesive to the floor against the rear stone.
  2. Place the Third Stone:
    • Place a 60 x 30 cm stone against the adhesive.

Attaching the Fourth Layer of Natural Stone:

  1. Apply Adhesive:
    • Apply four lines of adhesive to the floor against the back stone.
  2. Place the Fourth Stone:
    • Place a 60 x 60 cm stone against the adhesive.

    • Apply four lines of adhesive to the back wall, directly above the floor, approximately 50 cm high and a maximum of 50 cm wide.
  2. Place the First Stone:
    • Place the first 60 x 60 cm stone against the adhesive.

    • Place a 30 x 60 cm stone against the adhesive.
