What materials are the outdoor cooking products made of?

The entire range of outdoor cooking products, such as the Utenflåmm, Utenovn, Utenfyr and the Utenkorv, consists mainly of corten steel. This material is recognizable by its warm, rusty color and forms a protective layer of rust so that it does not rust completely.

The Utenflåmm and Utenovn also have wooden parts made of thermowood. This wood has almost the same qualities as Red Cedar and has been additionally treated with a yacht lacquer. This gives the wood extra protection, it stays beautiful longer and any rust that ends up on the wood can easily be removed.

The Utenovn, Utenfyr and Utenflåmm are also equipped with high-quality 316 stainless steel baking trays and various cast iron parts. These materials were chosen for their strength, durability and excellent outdoor cooking performance.
