Connect your hot tub

The Ducktub comes on its side on a pallet, any accessories are supplied on a separate pallet. We recommend that you check the Ducktub for damage first, do this before you start unpacking. If there are any abnormalities in the packaging, always take photos before continuing.

The Ducktub can be transported with a pallet and all on a furniture dog, and the Ducktub can also be placed flat first and then lifted to the right place.

If the Ducktub is in the right place, it can be unpacked. Make sure you don't hit the Ducktub with sharp objects while unpacking. If present, place the heater and filter system in the right place.

Connecting the glass filter system

‍Step 1: Preparing the UV filter

Before the UV filter can be connected to the filter system, the lamp must first be placed in the housing. The video below explains these steps.

Step 2: Installing the Filter System

Place the filter system where the two hoses emerge from the hot tub. Connect the bottom black union coming from the hot tub to the filter pump, as shown in the video.

Then install the UV filter by attaching both blue unions, making sure they are securely hand-tightened.

• Ensure that the filter's plug points upwards.
• Ensure that the UV lamp's cord with the transformer attached does not lie on the ground; it can, for example, be screwed to the wall of the filter box.

Step 3: Electrical connections

Plug the UV filter and filter pump into the power strip and only turn on the power strip when the hot tub is filled with water.

PAY ATTENTION! Set up the pump never on if the hot tub is not fully filled with water, this can cause immediate damage.

PAY ATTENTION! Place the handle on the filter head never in a different position while the filter pump is running, this may cause irreparable damage to the filter head.

Please note that both devices are switched on or off at the same time, if the UV filter is on without the filter pump on, this can cause damage to the lamp.

👉 Your filter system is now installed and ready to use!

Stap 1: Filtersysteem aansluiten

Sluit eerst het filtersysteem aan. Het UV-filter is al door ons gemonteerd, dat hoef je dus niet zelf te doen.

Stap 2: Biobrandstofkachel plaatsen en aansluiten

Zet de kachel links naast de filterkist. Sluit de twee slangen uit de kist aan op de zwarte aansluitingen van de kachel.
👉 Controleer of de rubberen ringetjes aanwezig zijn om lekkage te voorkomen. Draai de wartels stevig handvast.

Stap 3: Stroom aansluiten

Breng de stekker onderlangs door de filterkist naar binnen en sluit deze aan op de stekkerdoos in de kist.

Stap 4: Dieseltank vullen

De rode dieseltank is al aangesloten op de kachel. Vul deze met brandstof en zet het kraantje open (te vinden achter het deurtje onder in de kachel).

Stap 5: Het systeem inschakelen

Zorg dat de hottub gevuld is met water voordat je de kachel aanzet. Zet vervolgens zowel het filtersysteem, het UV-filter als de kachel op stroom.
⚠️ Belangrijk: de kachel moet altijd tegelijk draaien met het filtersysteem om oververhitting te voorkomen.

Please note: The stove pipes are numbered with stickers on the inside. First, place stove pipe number one onto the stove, with the ribbed side facing down. Then, place stove pipe number two on top of it, sliding its ribbed side into the lower pipe.
