Do I need power for my sauna?

A power current is required for an electric sauna heater. This must be installed by a licensed electrician. We are not authorized to do this and therefore do not carry out any work on the electricity ourselves.

Make sure that there is a power point (CEE wall socket) no more than 2 meters from the sauna. We install the heater in the sauna and make sure that the plug comes out at the back. All you have to do is plug it into the correct socket.

Please note:

• A standard electric heater requires a 16A 5-pin 400V CEE connection.
• A 32A 5-pin 400V CEE connection is required for a Huum Hive Electric heater.
• A separate 230V connection is also required for lighting or accessories.
• A wood stove does not require power unless you opt for additional options such as lighting.
