The ABCAT® smoke filter works best if you clean it regularly. This prevents clogging and maintains the effect.

How often you need to clean the smoke filter depends on how often and how intensively you use the stove. A good time is at the same time as emptying the ash from the stove.

How to clean the ABCAT® smoke filter:

Get the stovepipe (and possibly the heat shield) of the hot tub.
Gently remove the ABCAT® smoke filter.
Rinse the inside with a garden hose or under the tap. Do not use cleaning agents.
Let the filter drain for a while.
Put the filter back into the pipe.
Put the stove tubes back in place and you can fire again.
