Can the penetrations rust?

The penetrations in our hot tubs are made of high-quality stainless steel (stainless steel). This material was chosen for its strong resistance to rust and corrosion, even in humid environments.

With normal use and proper maintenance, corrosion is almost excluded. Surface rust can only occur under extreme conditions — such as prolonged exposure to aggressive cleaning agents or a highly acidic environment. If you do see rust during normal use, this could be flash rust. This can occur because particles from external sources end up on the surface and then rust. The hot tub's penetrations themselves therefore do not rust. You can remove these particles and do not affect the underlying steel directly.

In short: you can be confident that your hot tub's stainless steel penetrations will remain beautiful and functional for years to come.
