Do I still have to take care of the wood in the hot tub?

The wooden frame of the Ducktub needs maintenance to stay beautiful and strong. Without treatment, the wood becomes grey and more sensitive to moisture, cracks and mold.

We recommend treating the wood twice a year with Tar oil. This oil penetrates deep into the wood, protects against weather influences and prevents dehydration.

Would you rather not use Tar oil? Then you can also go to the hardware store to buy a suitable impregnating agent fetch. Please note that the drug retracts into the wood and doesn't stay on top like paint — that seals the wood and can cause damage.
