Did you purchase a hot tub after June 5, 2024? Here, you'll learn how to easily place and install the UV filter system. Follow the steps below and enjoy clean water in your hot tub.
Step 1: Preparing the UV Filter
- Unpacking the UV Filter: Remove the UV filter from the box.
- Preparing the UV Lamp: Loosen the swivel nut and carefully remove the UV lamp. Remove the cardboard from the UV lamp.
- Placing the UV Lamp: Place the UV lamp back into the UV filter and tighten the swivel nut securely. Ensure that the rubbers on both sides of the UV filter are correctly positioned. These rubbers ensure the filter remains watertight.
Step 2: Positioning the Filter System
- Placement Without Box: For this explanation, the filter system is shown without a box. Normally, it is delivered in a box.
- Positioning the Filter System: Place the filter system where the two hoses come out of the hot tub.
- Placing the UV Filter: Check that the rubbers are still in place and ensure the plug is at the bottom of the UV filter.
Step 3: Making Connections
- Tightening the Upper Swivel Nut: Tighten the upper swivel nut of the glass filter pump to the UV filter.
- Attaching the Hoses:
- Tighten the upper hose of the hot tub to the lower nozzle of the UV filter.
- Attach the lower hose of the hot tub to the circulation pump.
- Ensure all swivel nuts are hand-tightened securely.
Step 4: Electrical Connections
- Connecting the Plugs: Insert the two plugs into the power strip.
- Turning on the Power Strip: Turn on the power strip.
Now the UV filter system is ready for use. You can now enjoy clean and clear water in your hot tub!
