Are you building the sauna in the garden?
You can opt for construction (NL & BE), delivery with a crane or a kit. What suits your garden?
When you purchase a Tønsauna from Welvaere, you can choose from various delivery options. You can choose to have the sauna delivered in its entirety, as a DIY kit or therefore the option that our sauna builders will build and install it for you.
We will then ensure that the sauna is located where you reserved for the sauna and that, at the end of the day, all you have to do is heat the sauna and start enjoying it.
Preparation is important
Before the sauna builders come to you to build the sauna, it is important that you are well prepared.
When purchasing a Tønsauna, you can choose from three delivery options:

Make sure you have a firm, flat and level surface such as tiles, honeycomb mats or a deck. You can read more information about the right surface here.
There must also be sufficient space for the structure:
— A Ø 205 cm sauna requires at least 305 cm of free passage
— At Ø 230 cm, that is 330 cm
Have you opted for an electric heater? Then there must be power, installed by a certified electrician. Learn more about the requirements here: electrics.
Is the surface or passage not in order at the time of installation? Then we have to make a new appointment, for which additional costs are charged.
So you can choose what best suits your situation — set it up yourself, have it set up (NL & BE), or delivered ready-to-use.
- Make sure you have enough space. Our technicians also need a free passage to where the sauna will be located and enough space around the sauna. For a sauna with a diameter of 205 centimetres, this is a total width of 305 centimetres and for a diameter of 230 centimetres, this is a total width of 330 centimetres.
- Make sure (if applicable) the correct electricity. If you have opted for an electric sauna heater, a power supply must have been installed by an electrician. You can read more about this here.
If you have a wood stove but opted for lighting, it is useful to have the electricity ready for this too, so that you can relax that same evening!
