How do I install the Design LED lighting under the sauna benches with a wood-fired sauna heater?

Step 1: Attach the LED Strip

Screw the LED strip under the benches with the supplied brackets. Make sure that the strip is firmly attached and placed nicely straight. Route the cables neatly backwards, through a hole outwards towards the central junction box.

Step 2: Strip the cables

Then strip all cables off the LED lights, switch, and plug. Use a cable stripper or a sharp blade to do this. Strip about 1 cm from the insulation so that the copper wires are clearly visible.

Step 3: Connect the cable connector

Cut off the transformer cable. Then attach the cable connector (as shown in the image) to the end of the cable. Connect it with the supplied silicone cable. Then lead the silicone cable out towards the junction box. In the junction box, you can connect everything together.

Step 4: Make connections with WAGO clamps

Use WAGO clamps to make the right connections:

- Brown wire from the LED strip -> Brown wire from the plug

- Blue wire from the LED strip -> Brown wire from the switch

- Blue wire from the switch -> Blue wire from the plug

Note: always double-check the colors before connecting.

Step 5: Finish neatly

Clean the cabling with cable clips or ducts. Make sure everything is secure, securely connected, and that the cables do not come into contact with hot surfaces. Plug it into the socket and turn on the switch. Is the LED strip lit? Then the installation was successful!
