My cartridge filtration system is not working properly, what can I do?

Bleeding the filter
The filter may need to be bled. To do this, loosen the cover above the coarse filter one or two turns. Until a very small amount of water escapes. After venting, do not forget to tighten the lid again. Be careful not to loosen the lid too far, or the water from the hot tub will flow out through the filter.
If something has been sucked into the filter, you will see this soon enough by venting the filter. This may therefore have been the reason for the filter not functioning as well as it should.

Cartridge filter replacement
To ensure optimal operation of your filter system, it is important to regularly maintain the cartridge filter. We recommend cleaning the filter every two weeks. This prevents clogging and keeps the filter working efficiently. You can easily rinse the filter with a garden hose to remove accumulated debris.

Over time, the filter material will wear out and perform less well. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the cartridge filter about every three months. This helps maintain good water quality and prevents unnecessary strain on your pumping system.
By following this maintenance advice, you will extend the life of your equipment and ensure clean, clear water.

Replacing the UV lamp in the filter system
The UV lamp in your filtration system plays a crucial role in controlling bacteria and algae in the water. Over time, the effectiveness of the lamp decreases even when it is still on.
To maintain optimal performance, the UV lamp should be replaced every 1 to 1.5 years. After this period, the lamp loses its disinfecting power, reducing water purification.
Replacing the UV lamp on time ensures that your filter system continues to function optimally and the water remains clean and clear. The UV lamp can be ordered on our website.
